DW4000 - USB Solution
DirecWay DW4000 terminal connects to the USB-enabled PC, which can be used as a server to share Internet over the LAN. To optimize speed and productivity for a range of web activities and to overcome high delay of satellite link, the HTTP Performance Enhancement Proxy (HPEP) software has been developed. By using just one persistent TCP connection, the number of TCP acknowledgments is reduced, thereby reducing the overall traffic over the satellite in-route and allowing faster and more efficient Web browsing.Grades of Services
